For the 2025-2026 school year, we have seven officers that, with the help of our advisors, run the Lafayette Senior High School FCCLA Chapter.
President
Evelyn Ellingsworth
The job of President is to lead chapter and officer meetings, coordinate with advisors and school administration, and plan meeting dates.
Evelyn has been a member of FCCLA for five years and has competed in STAR Events every year. She has competed on the National level all five years and won first in the nation for the Technology in Teaching Skills Competion in 2024. She hopes to become a robotics engineer and help people through the application of technology.
First Vice President
Lane O'Bryan
The job of Vice President is to assist the President and other officers in all of their duties and run officer and chapter meetings in the absence of the president.
Lane has been a member of FCCLA for three years and previously held the office of President. She has competed in STAR Events for the last two year, placing first at regionals and state conference both years and fifth at the National Leadership Conference in her seventh grade year.
Vice President of Community Service
Marisa Presley
The job of Vice President of Community Service is to coordinate community service events for the chapter.
Marisa has been a member of FCCLA for five years and is our former Vice President of Public Relations. She has placed top three twice at the National Leadership Conference, getting first place for Technology in Teaching and third for Impromptu Speaking. She's hoping to become a certified nursing assistant before eventually becoming a registered nurse.
Vice President of Membership
Ellie Murphy
The job of Vice President of Membership is to create and run programs to increase membership and retain and recognize current members.
Ellie has been a member of FCCLA for two years and has competed in STAR Events both years. Last year she won first at both Regional and State Conference. She is an active part of all fundraisers and community service projects and hopes to find a career that enhances the leadership skills that she has learn from FCCLA.
Vice President of Membership
Eva Martinez-Limon
The job of Vice President of Membership is to create and run programs to increase membership and retain and recognize current members.
Eva has been in FCCLA for three years and previously held the office of First Vice President. She now holds the title of Vice President of Membership along with Ellie Murphy. Last year, she won first in the state for her STAR Event.
Vice President of Public Relations
May Dinh
The job of Vice President of Public Relations is to manage all of the chapter’s official social media accounts and insure that all information gets to chapter members.
May has been a member of FCCLA for three years has competed in STAR Events for the last two years. She has won first at regionals and place top two at state both years. Last year she placed fourth in the nation in Career Investigations. May hopes to get her doctorate and pursue a career as an orthodontist.
Vice President of Competitive Events
DeLeigha Cummins
The job of Vice President of Competitive Events is to support members competing in competitive events.
DeLeigha has been a member of FCCLA for six years and has placed first in the nation three times for STAR Events. She hopes to attend Harvard University and have a career in law.
