For the 2025-2026 school year, we have nine officers that, with the help of our advisors, run the Lafayette Senior High School FCCLA Chapter.
President
May Dinh
The job of President is to lead chapter and officer meetings, coordinate with advisors and school administration, and plan meeting dates. The President is responsible for all agendas and keeping chapter calendar up to date. With the help of the officers and advisors they will create a Program of Work to outline the chapter's year.
May has been a member of FCCLA and STAR Event competitor for five years. She has won 1st at Regionals and State, while qualifying as a National Finalist over the past competition seasons. Last year, she placed 2nd in the nation in the STAR Event: Digital Stories for Change. May hopes to earn her Doctorate and pursue a career as an orthodontist.
First Vice President
Marisa Presley
The job of Vice President is to assist the President and other officers in all of their duties and run officer and chapter meetings in the absence of the President. They oversee committees and project teams as well as set up communications for all committees. Unless the President is absent, the Vice President is responsible for taking meeting minutes.
Marisa has been a member of FCCLA for six years and is our former Vice President of Public Relations (2024-2025) and Vice President of Community Service (2025-2026). She has placed in the top three twice at the National Leadership Conference, getting first place for Technology in Teaching and third for Impromptu Speaking. She also placed top 10 at the National Leadership Conference, competing in the Leadership competition. She's hoping to become a certified nursing assistant before eventually becoming a registered nurse.
Vice President of Community Service
Lane O'Bryan
The job of Vice President of Community Service is to coordinate community service events for the chapter. They will lead a committee assigned to assists with community service projects.
Lane has been a member of FCCLA for four years and previously held the office of Vice President at the Lafayette FCCLA Chapter. She has competed in STAR Events for the three years, placing fifth at nationals in seventh grade and second at state in ninth grade. Lane hopes to become a lawyer after studying anthropology.
Vice President of Membership
Eve Wisenhorn
The job of Vice President of Membership is to create and run programs to increase membership and retain and recognize current members. This includes: leading recruitment campaigns and activities, welcome new members of the chapter, promote FCCLA in class, and updating the FCCLA Bulletin Board. The Vice President of Membership is also responsible for tracking member attendance and recognizing committed members.
Eve has been an active member of FCCLA for one year. This year Eve is Vice President of Membership. She was a member last year that competed in her first STAR Events and competed in regionals. She placed second with Sports Nutrition. As Vice President of Membership she helps welcome new members and encourage current members to spread awareness of FCCLA. She has her Board of Membership that members join to be more active in this great opportunity.
Vice President of Public Relations
Mame Sakho
The job of Vice President of Public Relations is to manage all of the chapter’s official social media accounts and insure that all information gets to chapter members. They will highlight chapter activities and accomplishments, design and share announcements for chapter events, and document all meetings and activities.
Mame has been an active FCCLA member for one year. During her first year, she competed in STAR Events, earning 1st place at Regionals, placing in the top four at State, and qualifying for the National Leadership Conference. At her first National Competition in D.C., Mame earned 2nd place. She currently serves as Vice President of Public Relations. Following graduation, Mame plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
Vice President of Competitive Events
Evelyn Ellingsworth
The job of Vice President of Competitive Events is to support members competing in competitive events. They will do this through helping members chose an event, planning STAR Event meetings and workshops, and creating a tracking system to help monitor progress.
Evelyn has been a member of FCCLA for six years and has competed in STAR Events every year. She has competed at the National Leadership Conference five times and won first in the nation for the Technology in Teaching Skills Competition in 2024. She hopes to become a robotics engineer and help people through the application of technology.
Vice President of Individual Programs
Ellie Murphy
The job of Vice President of Competitive Events is to support members and encourage participation in individual programs and events. They will incorporate individual programs into chapter activities, host a fall workshop, and track participation in Power of One and other degrees.
Ellie has been a member of FCCLA for two years and has competed in STAR Events both years. She was Co-Vice President of Membership (2025-2026). For the last two years she won first at both Regional and State Conference. This past year she also competed at nationals. She is an active part of all fundraisers and community service projects and hopes to find a career that enhances the leadership skills that she has learned from FCCLA. She hopes to pursue a career and higher education using the skill she has learned from her FCS Interior Design classes.
Vice President of Finance
Lily Bischoff
The job of Vice President of Competitive Events is to develop fundraising goals, plan fundraising events for the chapter, and coordinate logistics, promotions, and volunteer schedules. They will assist with monitoring the chapter budget and provide financial updates during meetings.
Lily has been an active member of FCCLA for four years. She is currently the Vice President of Finance but is also former Co-vice President of Community service (2024-2025). She participated in and planned multiple community service and fundraising projects. She has completed a Power of One, Junior Degree, and last year, she competed in her first STAR Event at regional competition and placed in the top three. Following graduation, she hopes to pursue a career and further education in marketing and fashion.
Vice President of Peer Education
Eva Martinez-Limon
The job of Vice President of Peer Education is to inform others about what FCCLA is, promote FCCLA national programs and peer education initiatives, and help recruit members to participate in outreach and awareness activities. They will assist with chapter service projects and school-wide educational events including planning their own.
Eva has been an active member in FCCLA for 4 years. She currently holds the title of Vice President of Peer Education, while previously holding the title of Co-Vice President of Membership (2025-2026) as well as 1st Vice President (2024-2025). She has also competed in Star Event for 3 years and for the last two won Regional and State Conference. This past year she also attended and competed in her first National Conference.
